Services you can count on
From routine maintenance to complex repairs, we handle it all with care and transparency.
Oil Changes & Fluids
Full-synthetic, conventional, or blend — we'll match the right oil to your engine and your schedule.
Brake Service
Squeaky brakes? We'll inspect, repair, or replace pads, rotors, and calipers — then make sure you stop with confidence.
Engine Diagnostics
Check engine light on? We'll read the codes, explain what they mean in plain English, and fix the real problem — not just the symptom.
Transmission Care
From fluid flushes to full rebuilds, we keep your transmission shifting smooth through every season.
Cooling & AC
Michigan winters are brutal and summers are hot. We'll keep your engine from overheating and your cabin comfortable either way.
State Inspection

Not your average garage. Just good people doing good work.
Krueger's 66 sits on North Louvingny Street in the heart of Mackinaw City, just steps from the action on US Highway 66. We're not a chain, we're not a franchise — we're your neighbors.
When you pull into our bay, you're not a ticket number. We take the time to explain what your vehicle needs, what can wait, and what's actually urgent. No upselling, no jargon, no surprises on the bill.
Whether your truck has been acting up since last winter or you're passing through town and need a quick check — we're glad you stopped by.
What makes us different (and we're not the only ones who think so)
We explain things plainly
You deserve to understand what's wrong with your car and why it matters. We'll walk you through it — no mechanic speak required.
Fair prices, upfront
We'll tell you the cost before we touch your vehicle. If something comes up that wasn't in the original estimate, we call you first.
Quality parts, real warranties
We use reliable parts and stand behind our work. If it doesn't hold up, we'll make it right — that's the promise.
You're not a stranger here
Regulars and first-timers alike — we remember your name, your vehicle, and what it needs. That's the local difference.

Brought my truck in worried about a weird noise. They diagnosed it fast, explained exactly what was wrong, and the price was exactly what they quoted. No drama — just honest work.
I was passing through town and my check engine light came on. Krueger's 66 squeezed me in, figured out the issue, and had me back on the highway the same day. Lifesavers.
These guys treat your car like it's their own. I've been bringing my vehicles here for years and have never once felt like they were pushing work I didn't need.
